Guidelines for content on the Anarchist Bookfair in London 2021 website.

This is for both Stall and Workshop holders.

List of stalls can be found here and the workshops are here.

We are working hard on putting contents on the website on time for this weekend. Each stall and each workshop has a dedicated contents space on our website, and these will be archived later.

We've done our best to copy and paste information and media from your various websites, socials, and Google.

Please have a look on or website and tell us if you would like to change or to add anything.

If you would like us to include media, such as images, videos or documents, please send those to us, but please ensure they are less then 20M, and ideally less then 5MB in total.

We can link to any external resources you wish, this could be your social media pages, online shops, resources, extra reading or whatever you think is relevant.

We would like to make stunning, informative and helpful pages to everyone participating, and we're doing our best to this end.

Please help us highlight your projects.

Anyone holding a workshop (12th of September)

The programme times are here

These workshops are video conference. You will be the main speaker and presenter.

Our experience shows that Google Chrome is the least problematic browser for video conferencing. We recommend you install it for this purpose.

Before the day:

On the day, please do make sure:

PLEASE END THE WORKSHOP ON TIME, we don't want to cut off your stream but we need to stick to the schedule.

Room 1:

If you were assigned this room, you will be sent a joining link and a secret key for 8X8 in an email. Please keep this information handy on the day.

Browse to this link as soon as the previous workshop is concluded.

This room is "closed", this means only you and your group participate in the video panel.

You might have some audience participation through the chatrooms on Discord and Twitch, which we will relay to you through the 8x8 (text) chat.

Room 2:

If you were assigned to this room, you will be sent a joining link to a BigBlueButton server hosted by our friends in an email. Please keep this information handy on the day.

Browse to this link as soon as the previous workshop is concluded.

This room is "open", this means the video conference is open to the public, and can potentially have up to 100 participants (but probably less we don't know).

Talks on both rooms will be streamed to Twitch TV and Kolektiva, except the last few workshops on room 2.We will turn off the streaming and these workshops will only be open to people in the video call.

Workshops will also be edited and uploaded to Kolektiva, except the last few workshops on room 2.

Please consider your own privacy and personal comfort levels. If you are concerned consider covering your camera, masking up, and or displaying only a presentation without a camera.

We can prepare a slide show for roll during the talk if you prefer that, but please provide us with some contents related to your talk.

There will be a BSL translator.

We are DESPERATELY looking for a BSL translator, if you are willing to take on part or all of this task PLEASE get in touch ASAP!
