Aghh! Zine is a zine created in the heart of Brighton and was created as a safe space to discuss and investigate ourselves, society and subjects that are taboo or not mainstream. We also aim to give a platform for new voices and easy access to publishing opportunities with a focus on queer, BIPOC and other underrepresented communities.

Anti Raids Brighton are a community defence group organising to support migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Brighton & Hove. Resisting racist immigration raids through education, training, mutual aid and direct action.

Less Than 500 Press is a Canterbury-based small press producing poetry books (dealing with work, mental health, and life in general), and a variety of affordable photography / travel / art / satirical /political / cultural detritus zines, as well as titles exploring voices, narratives and the authority of the printed word. They also carry a variety of work by other artists including, Aghh! Zine, Probability Books, Section K Press and others.

The Old Moles Collective as a small discussion group that has been self publishing our own writings on Marx and working class struggle. We are not a political group as such but we do follow left communist politics. Our books are printed professionally and we sell our books at bookfairs at reduced prices.

Radical Poster Collective, a non-profit collective, was set up in 2022 and now has a website displaying nearly 300 radical posters, with biographical info about the artist and the historical context. We have posters from a wide range of social and revolutionary movements including chartists, Spanish Revolution and Civil War, Paris May ’68 etc.
Pirate Press has been around since the 1980s, and has recently had a resurgence, focusing on anarchist themed games and revolutionary history books.

Sinoist Books is a UK-based independent press that publishes only the best in translated Chinese literature and contemporary fiction. Our mission is to act as a bridge between the Chinese and English-speaking worlds, so that the best Sinophone authors and their works can transcend the language barrier.

black mold press is a small socialist press run by a group of non dogmatic nogoodniks. We publish work on agriculture, systems theory and Marxism as it relates to the class struggle today.

The Communist Workers’ Organisation (CWO) is a left communist group founded in 1975, that is affiliated to the Internationalist Communist Tendency (ICT). They stand for a stateless, moneyless, classless global society where production is for need and not profit, and independent working class self-organisation and the formation of an international revolutionary party to get us there. They aim to promote this perspective wherever workers are there to hear – pickets, demos, and elsewhere.

The Disability Action Research Kollective (DARK) is a disabled-led group who make zines on various topics, including disability history, media analysis and political education.

Polari Press is a queer-focused publishing house founded by Peter Collins. Taking its name from the secret queer slang of the mid-twentieth century, Polari Press releases queer-authored books and artworks, ensuring that marginalised voices are given a spotlight.

Mad Youth Organise is a campaign led by young people with lived experience of mental distress and madness – and we are organising to build a collective response to the crisis we are facing. We’re done with empty mental health “awareness” campaigns: we want to hold the politicians, institutions and executives who drive and profit from our misery to account.

56a Infoshop is a long-term volunteer-run, 100% unfunded, DIY social centre in Walworth, South London since 1991. We share a collectively-run building with the brilliant Fareshares Food Co-op and the awesome 56a Bikespace.

The Anarchist Federation was founded as the Anarchist Communist Federation in March of 1986. We describe ourselves as anarchist communists and revolutionary class struggle anarchists, and operate as a membership organisation. This segment of the website takes a look at the AF itself, describing both the shared political outlook of our members and also the structures of our revolutionary organisation. The Alarm Phone is a self-organized Border Abolitionist network operating across Europe and North Africa. The network runs a 24/7 hotline for people in distress at sea in the Mediterranean, the Aegean, the Atlantic and the Channel. We do not carry out rescues, but we raise the alarm to support rescue operations.

BOOKS is a secondhand book & zine shop based in Peckham, Southeast London.

We are an autonomous antifascist group based in Brighton. We’ve been active continuously since 2010, keeping Brighton fascist-free and travelling to support mobilisations in other cities across the country. We promote mass militant community mobilisation as a key tool in the tool box to oppose the far right. Most recently we were involved in organising the Carnival Against Fascism in June that totally blocked the far-right from marching in Brighton.

Circle-A Studios make radical video games for underrepresented gamers. We are working on our first game as a team, “Creatures Like Us”, which focuses on squatting, mutual aid, queer chosen family, and smashing capitalism through systems change. Come play a demo of the game at our stall!

Decolonise fest is an annual London-based, volunteer-run, non-profit DIY punk festival collectively organised by and for punx of colour. Our collective is made up of activists, militant community organisers, musicians, and artists that came together to hold our first festival in 2017.

Decrim Now is an alliance of workers who sell sexual services, sex workers’ rights collectives, politicians, feminists, human rights organisations, and more who are dedicated to improving the lives and working conditions of sex workers in the UK. We are fighting for decriminalisation of sex work, which is the full removal of legislation and policy relating to the sale and purchase of sexual services.

DOPE Magazine is an anarchist street paper. Each issue we print 50,000 copies. This means that DOPE Magazine existing puts around £600,000 into the hands of our homeless vendors each year. All funded by our community of subscribers.

EF! originated in the USA in 1979, but from there spread around the world, and morphed to suit local conditions & priorities.
In the UK it was successfully started in 1991, and quickly grew, developing it’s own distinct character. Initially the biggest campaigns were around imports of tropical timber and anti-roads campaigns, though there were numerous smaller campaigns. Genetic crops, international solidarity, peat and climate change have been other strong campaigns over time.

ELSC is a network of feisty, feminist and fiercely independent strippers. Founded in 2014, we promote self-organisation among strippers & lap dancers, challenge stigma around sex work and stand up to exploitation, fighting for improved safety + harm-reduction in the wider sex industry.

We are dedicated to building worker-led strategies, creating opportunities outside of the exploitative business model of a regular strip club.

Revenge Collective is a trans-feminist consciousness raising, reading and organising group that gives Trans Fems and all those affected by transmisogyny a space to come together and find solidarity and community and to articulate liberation on our own terms, fighting fascism without and within.
We run a monthly reading group open to trans fems and have begun doing stuff outside of this, facilitating radical tranny gatherings and mutual aid and much needed trans-fem-inist intervention into the wider movement.

Rockstar Game Workers

31 members of staff at Grand Theft Auto VI developer Rockstar were fired en masse in a “calculated attack on workers”. The IWGB union described Rockstar’s actions as ‘the most blatant and ruthless act of union busting in the history of the games industry.
It’s been a brutal experience, but union members at Rockstar have remained determined to fight back against this vicious targeting of staff. Support of the Rockstar Fighting Fund will help support our legal case currently taking place in Glasgow.

SCALPEL is a trans healthcare fundraising collective prioritising NFA people who DIY. With state waiting lists becoming impossible and private healthcare out of reach, NFA (no fixed abode) trans people and those who DIY are left behind. You have no stability when you have no access to housing or consistent healthcare. SCALPEL exists to raise money for this reason – we must help each other, and we can have some fun doing it!

Solidarity Federation (SolFed) was formed in March 1994. It is a federation of groups across England, Scotland and Wales. Everyone involved is helping to build a non-hierarchical, anti-authoritarian solidarity movement. The basic foundation used for doing this is the Local group.
