Alarmphone is a network of activists across Europe and North and West Africa that run a 24hr emergency phone line for people on the move. Primarily people crossing in small boats in the Mediterranean Sea, Agean Sea and the Uk-France Channel. We raise the alarm and put pressure on coastguards to carry out rescues. We document and scandalise the illegal pushbacks and deliberate non assistance. We also receive calls from family and friends looking for loved ones and do our best to support people in there searches. The alarmphone has been running for 10 years this October! We are part of a the global no borders movement.
