Absinth started to participate in rap music & culture first as a listener in 1995, and then as a music producer, beatmaker, and mc in the early 00s. He is a member of the the musical-political team Hit N 'Rap since 2006, the oldest anarchist and antifa political hip hop collective in Greece established in 2002 which has organised more than 200 solidarity lives and jams in Athens for political purposes [supporting squats, self-organized buildings and projects, solidarity lives for political prisoners, solidarity lives and support to people arrested in demos, fighting for public spaces, promoting antifa spirit through lyrics action and music]. Absinth is also a member of the Greek German and French antifa hip hop political network In Flammen that operates between countries and organizes and supports solidarity lives in squats and DIY live projects. He has organized and participated in several lives all over Greece and has also performed in squats and antifa festivals in Germany and Italy. His newest political music and performance is a project called “blade in the chest of the metropolis”. In the context of this project I played 16 lives within a year (30th October 2018-30th October 2019) in 16 different cities in Greece presenting this new project and supporting several causes of solidarity (squats, arrested people from demos, political prisoners, anarchist and antifa networks, self organized spaces, autonomous workers’ unions etc).
